James D. Withers, Founder and Owner

James D. Withers is an accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business (IIB), an international accreditation body of over 5,000 senior executives whose focus is to support businesses. Jim founded his business advisory group, James D. Withers Consulting Services in 1998. He provides leadership growth for business owners and corporate executives.

Core Executive Coaching Experience

Jim is an accredited Senior Master Executive Coach with CMT, an international executive coaching, mentoring, and training organization. Jim also works internally as a mentor and executive coach with IIB Associates where he has coached numerous senior level executives over many years. He currently works with Challenger, Gray, and Christmas as one of their premier executive coaches, providing executive coaching services to corporate executives and managers. He has coached executives for performance and implemented positive change in business. He brings over 30 years of experience in Coaching

He is certified as a mediator and has mediated conflicts in a variety of business situations. Jim is certified in a variety of assessment tools. He is certified in the Myers-Briggs Profile Indicator and has taught team building to institutional and educational staff. Jim is also a certified executive coach with Innermetrix as well as with CMT and uses Axiology assessments such as Emotional Intelligence, Disc Behavior Styles, and Disc Values. Jim uses these assessments to analyze decision making abilities using axiology and behavior styles with Myers-Briggs and Disc. He assesses core personality values with Disc Values. Jim is skilled in providing a broad based business coaching and advisory service to implement streamlined communication and change management to drive revenues. He uses any number of Innermetrix assessment tools to reach the company objectives within teams, such as the Team Inner View attributes to measure and assess team strengths and weaknesses in the decision making arena of business. He has focused his expertise over the past several years on business and executive coaching and has worked to implement positive change and business and personal growth for numerous executives, mamagers, and business owners during this time. He has gained notoriety as a business and executive coach who can customize a program to assist the business owner and corporate executive in fulfilling their needs to provide the leadership necessary for their company success.

Jim holds a B.A. degree in Economics and English from The University of North Carolina, where he played basketball for Dean Smith as a freshman and an M.A. in Psychology from The State University system of Georgia.
