Practical Professional Support for Small Businesses
The Institute for Independent Business (IIB):
The IIB, the largest organization of its type, is an international alliance of over 2,000 senior business executives, whose mission is to bring business expertise to the small business community.
Accreditation by the IIB gives James Withers access to experts in every facet of small business ownership and development so that owners have an executive coach for mentoring and guidance.
The IIB Executive Associates have the experience and expertise to work with business owners. To qualify for accreditation with the institute, one must be a mature businessperson who has held senior management positions, usually as a CEO, Executive Director of a non-profit organization, or a small business owner. Once that has been proven the executive passes a number of assessments and training programs to fully identify his executive capability.
The Business Support Program:
The IIB has created the Business Support Program to assist small business owners with the strategic planning and design of any project their company may need. The Executive Associate will examine all areas where the owner needs support in the company. The program is designed for up to 12 months of guidance so the associate can assist the firm to identify, plan and implement cost savings.
Through the Business Support Program, the owner has access to a wide-range of top business directors and professionals who are available for advice or “hands-on” assistance. The associates provide expert analysis for the overwhelming issues of running a business: planning, marketing, loneliness, lack of time, loss of original vision, lack of up to date information, and profitability.
